About Nike Zoom LeBron VI
Nike Zoom LeBron VI, the LeBron James sixth signature sneaker realeased in october 31th,2008. James worked with Nike designer Ken Link to create a shoe that meets his performance needs and the needs of players with a powerful, dynamic style of play. The Zoom LeBron VI not only has a full-length Zoom Air unit in the mid-sole for the ultimate responsive ride, but also has a Zoom Air unit double-stacked in the heel. The versatility of the Zoom LeBron VI stretches beyond its on court capabilities. While many have dedicated kicks for on and off court wear, the LeBron via design gives it the ability to come correct off the hardwood and in the streets. A clearly shaped toe-box, triple stitched leather midsole wrap, and toothed outsole create a bit of a throwback to a Nike Basketball favorite that debuted in 1982. The Zoom LeBron VI basketball shoe is at least six months away as with all LeBron signature sneakers - they drop just before the NBA season starts. Ken Link, the designer of the last few LeBron signature sneakers also designed these.
With the U.S team preparing to take on Argentina in the semi-finals, U.S Basketball team athlete Lebron James has presented his sixth sneaker, the Nike Zoom Lebron VI Shoeswhich has been seen wearing by LeBron James at several USA basketball practices; LeBron James who officially unveiled the Nike Zoom Lebron VI at a press conference, as well as showcasing a specially made pair inspired by USA Basketball colors which he plans to wear if and when the USA mene's basketball team makes it to the Gold Medal game. One of the shoes bright spots is that they have been labeled the lightest LeBron signature shoe to date.
The Air Max LeBron VII is only a few weeks away, but it looks like that’s all the window Nike needs to slide in this one last Zoom LeBron VI Low, available now at House of Hoops.
The upper uses white leather, found on the toe cap and top, as well as the Swoosh. The remainder of the upper is done up in black, along with the liner. The Swoosh features red contrast stitching, as does the highlight of this particular colorway–the midsole. As you can see, that midsole is wrapped in carbon fiber all the way around. The heel cap gets the same treatment. These may become outdated soon, but it’s always nice to have some jean-friendly sneakers as Winter approaches.
Triple-stacked Zoom Air? Yes, yes y’all, the Swoosh has taken it to new heights of comfort with a three-tiered implementation of their popular Zoom Air cushioning interface. While elegant performance was the end goal of the ’07 LeBron V, the Nike Air Zoom Lebron 6 (VI) returns to James’s powerful roots as the brawny point-forward / MacGuyver-esque Cleveland Cavalier.
The sixth sneaker in the Bron-Bron line-up is marked by sturdy silver eyelets, a conspicuously forward-canted check along the middle panel, and a boot-inspired midsole. Oh, and did I mention the triple-stacked Zoom? Just recently, Nike dropped a four pair of Nike Air Zoom Lebron 6 dubbed “The LeBrons” package at selected retailers / Niketowns nationwide. Each pair in the pack focused on one character from Nike’s hilarious “The LeBrons” commercials. Check back soon to find out what general release color schemes will be releasing.
