About Air Jordan Take Flight
The Jordan Take Flight is a first for Jordan Brand. The Take Flight is the first Jordan shoe to not only feature Max Air cushioning, but full length, 360 degree Air Max cushioning. The shoe delivers ultimate protection with the 360 Max Air whether you are taking off from the free-throw line or posting up in the paint. A higher cut on the upper also provides extra stability. Jordan Brand athletes Gerald Wallace and Stephen Jackson are among some of the players who have worn this sneaker during NBA action.
The Jordan Take Flight's official release date was set for October, 2010 and retailed for $150. To stay current with all Jordan Brand releases, check out the Air Jordan release dates page. For history on the Air Jordan line, visit our archive pages about Jordans.
The first ever Air Jordan shoe with full-length 360 Air with launch this October, as the Air Jordan Take Flight will make its debut on shelves of Jordan Brand retailers and basketball courts nationwide. There's a lot more to the Take Flight than the 360-Air; the lockdown fit of the Take Flight and the added traction on the outrigger allow for optimal fit and feel, but aside from a technical POV, the Air Jordan Take Flight is a beauty of a shoe. With flowing lines on the upper and elephant print on the patent leather mudguard, the Take Flight has the makings for a successful shoe based on the classic inspiration of the upper design. Is this the first of many 360-Air laden Jordans? Take a look at the video after the jump for more details and expect the Air Jordan Take Flight to be available in a number of great colorways starting this October.
